Swimming!

Although the girls swim everyday at the park, most evenings you can find them in the pool in the backyard! Kynedy is trying to stay above water. She has to be cool even in the pool!
Ali trying to surf, it did not last long!

Kynedy's End of Season Soccer Party!

At the end of every soccer season Kynedy's coach has a huge soccer party for all 3 of his teams.

Rich is great at keeping the kids entertained. He had them play battleship with water balloons. First the kids filled up the balloons and then they threw them over the fence to try to hit someone from the other team.

The last play the red team fired the balloons over the fence and then the yellow team tricked them and ran around the fence and bombed them with balloons.

Kynedy had a great season and enjoyed her end of the season party. Great job Kynedy!! And a huge thank you to Rich and Terry!!!

Fishing Trip

The girls begged to go fishing so we took a Sunday evening and went to Ventures for some fishing fun! This is a picture of the lake.

Kynedy posing with her fishing pole.

This is my favorite picture from the trip. Kynedy was facsinated with the salamander she was using as bait!

Jeffrey was really into fishing. He got a couple of bites but did not catch one!

Ali enjoyed herself but did not end up catching anything. In the end Roger caught a couple and we finished the evening with ice cream from Sonic!

Ali's 5th Grade Farewell Program

Ali is on her way to Otter Creek!!! Ali with her teacher Mr. B and the music teacher Mrs. Martin. Of course Kynedy had to get in the picture.
Ali in the center playing her violin.

Ali (in the bright green) singing at her farewell

Ali and Emma, they are two of a kind! Both are great soccer players and have been playing together for 3 years. Emma will be going to Wilson :(

Ali and her buddies doing the can-can!

She will miss her friends going to Wilson. Ali received the Presidential Award in Academic Excellence for carrying a B average through grade school. Congratulations Ali and good luck in Middle School. Watch out Otter Creek!!!

Kynedy's Last Soccer Game

Kynedy checking out her trophy!!

Kynedy has been with the same team for 3 years which is 6 seasons! They are a great group. They always have to get in a silly team picture!

Kynedy has really sharpened up on her skills this year and used them during games!

Way to go Kynedy!!!

Ahh the normal team picture.

Ali Spring Soccer Season (4 games)

Well Ali got to play a total of 4 games which was more than I thought she would play due to her broken leg! She did a great job, you could not even tell she had a broken leg just 3 days before she played her first game!

She is checking out her trophy here with a few teammates!

Great action shot! She really uses her strength during soccer!

This is her most common pose during soccer. She is a defender and it is very unusual the ball gets past her!

Again here you can see just how much power she puts behind her kick.

Another great kick shot!

Team photo! Many of her teammates have been on her team for the last 3 years. This Fall she will join the Otter Creek team and be split from a few of her good friends, they will play for Woodrow. Should make for an interesting game!

Ali's 5th Grade Field Trip

Ali's 5th grade class at Lost Creek.

This is Lucas Oil Stadium. During games the band is located right under the horse shoe.

Ali's 5th grade trip this year consisted of a bus ride to Indianapolis to Lucas Stadium, Indian's Game and the State Museum. In this photo Ali's good friend Braxton is trying on her sunglasses and someones hat.

Here Cashis is now modeling the blue hat and pink sunglasses. Let me tell you these two were great entertainment for our bus ride!

Ali and Faith arriving for their Lucas Oil tour. Of course we had to get a cool picture.

This is the stadium with half of the roof open. It was closed when we arrived and they opened it through the tour.

Standing on the field. It is huge!!!

Here Ali is in the press box overlooking the field.

Our next stop was Victory Field for an Indians game. The Indians won and it was gorgeous weather for a ballgame! PLAY BALL!!!

Ali sporting her pink sunglasses during the game. We sat in the foul ball section but did not catch a ball :(

Our last stop was the State Museum where we watched a 3D film "Creatures of the Sea". In this photo we are waiting for the museum to let us in Ali was able to participate in some activities outside while we waited. In the end it was a great end to her time at Lost Creek. I truly enjoyed spending the day with her and Faith!

Kynedy's Trip to the Zoo

Kynedy's end of year trip was to the Indianapolis Zoo. She requested to her teacher that she spend the whole day with me. Of course we hung out with her BFF Allie and her mother. It was a great day and ended up being gorgeous outside.

The big fun of the day was petting the sharks.

Both girls wanted to have a dolphin painted on their face. We attended the Dolphin show and they loved it!

Here are the girls showing off their gifts from the gift shop. It was a great day and I enjoyed my time with Kynedy and Allie!

Cheeto & Sapphire

I had to share this adorable picture of our cats sharing a case box. They fight over who is going to sleep in the box. It is unusal that they both end up in it.

My Photos

Here are a couple flower shots from around my house. The other two are of the girls during their Cheerleading clinic.

SOCCER

As you know Ali did not get to play the beginning of soccer season, but did play 4 games, I will post eventually. Kynedy had a great start to the season, she was ready to go. One game she got a total of three goals!!! She has learned many skills and teamwork the last year and can really play soccer now!! She is fast and smart about the game. It was great watching her. Here are a couple action pictures from early in the season.
