Some of My Favorite Things

Sweet Sunday at home!  It was warm but a windy day; I spent the morning mowing the grass and working around the yard. I didn't get by to see mom as she was still very tired and not up to visiting. I did go out and buy some flowers to start planting.

Friday Night Fun

This Friday AJ stayed all night, we made homemade pizzas, and AJ said his pizza was the best he had ever eaten!  He had tons of pepperoni and cheese, he played Fortnite with Grandpa and slept like an angel! The next morning, we had pancakes and chocolate waffles, and headed outside to play. He wanted to make another pizza (tortilla pizza) for lunch.  After some more fun and a few games of Fortnite we headed to Five and Below and to Ginger Ale's for a sweet drink.  AJ had the cotton candy Sprite, I went with the sweet tea, it was delicious!

He has the BEST smile!

 

Another Soccer Saturday

 It was a beautiful day, a bit chilly but AJ played a good game! I got some great photos; it was his day to get hit in the face by the ball and of course I got the picture below!  He was fine, after he took a little break, he continued to play.

April 20th 1999

A date I will never forget, it was the first school shooting I remember.  It happened in Columbine Colorado, not even close to me.  But it has stayed in my mind since that day.  Below is a beautiful Columbine flower I planted in honor of those killed that day.  I took a start from my mothers, and today, they are all over my flower beds, and such a beautiful flower that will bloom all summer.  

Mom ended up ill again and has been admitted to the hospital with RSV and pneumonia, she seems to be doing well, she has to be the toughest lady I know. 

I love the sky and the trees in this photo. It was taken at Fairbanks right before it rained this week.  I am not a fan of the dirty river and boy is really high right now! 

 

Sweet Sunday

Sunday was a BEAUTIFUL day!  After breakfast AJ and I went outside for some fun!  He loves to swing and spin; we stayed out playing and working around the yard for over an hour.  AJ decided he was hungry so in we went for some chicken fries!  Ali picked him up later that afternoon and I headed back outside to mow the yard.

Sage's Birthday Party

AJ and I headed to Sage's party later Saturday afternoon. Ali and Kynedy met us there to celebrate for a bit.  Aj had a blast, and really enjoyed playing with his cousins.  Grandmom was worn out, so we stopped for a coke slushie, and AJ came home with me and spent the evening with Grandpa!  It was a fun, and very busy day!
