Ali is 21

My beautiful first born turned 21 this month!! She went out and had a drink with a group of her good friends on her birthday.  Kynedy and I joined her for the first half of the evening.  I am so proud of the young lady she has became, her friends are also a group of wonderful young ladies.  I enjoyed catching up with them all.
Happy 21st Ali......you have the world in your hands and

What's Up

Summer was great, I was able to fulfill many items on my bucket list it was so much fun seeing AJ do many things for the first time.  As Fall is closing in I have started working on Fall plans and schedules. It will be a crazy time Kynedy has a few projects going on for school, keeping busy supporting her soccer teammates when she can and is searching for a job. One big milestone for her is she gets her license October 2nd.  She has had her car since Spring so she is one excited young lady. Ali is working hard in college and working mornings for a little longer at Rose. We are planning a grand celebration for AJ's birthday in October and I have a 5 day trip scheduled to Denver Colorado for a conference the beginning of October.  So I bet I will be planning and organizing all of September.  In between all of this I have painting and some work in the house to do and spend as much time as I can with AJ.  After October I plan to focus on the Holidays and planning a fun, but relaxing family vacation to the ocean for next summer.

Kynedy

Kynedy started her junior year in High School.  She had a bit of a rough time with her legs and has had to join the soccer roster as injured this year. She is doing therapy and resting her legs in hope to correct the issues. She is keeping busy with volunteer work with National Honor Society, is starting the early childhood program and will be spending a few hours at a local school getting experience as she plans to pursue a degree in teaching. I couldn't be prouder of her.
She is feeding Sage her 2nd cousin in the first photo.

Ali

Ali started her junior year of Nursing School. She continues to amaze me with her strength. She does an awesome job at being a mommy, student and an employee all while running a household. I can't put into words how proud I am of her. Not to mention she made an adorable little boy!!

Introducing Mrs. Sullivan

On August 24th my first niece Brittany got married to her best friend Alan Sullivan. It was a quick ceremony at the courthouse with myself and my mother as witnesses.  Brittany looked absolutely gorgeous and I wish her and Alan the best.  Sure wish her mother was still alive to see her get married.  Miss my sister everyday!

Air Show

We had an Air Show in our town a few weeks ago.  My place of employment is very close to our airport and we had a free show for a few days. I was able to get a few good pictures of The Blue Angels in the air.  No way would I have fought the crowd to go, we did that the last time they were in town.

Tacos at Cindy's

We spent a beautiful Saturday enjoying time with family and eating tacos.
We had a great time playing cornhole and just catching up.
Riley..he is such a funny dog

What to do on a rainy Saturday

We had planned a trip to Splash Island a few weeks ago but with the weather not cooperating we decided to spend the day at the local Children's Museum and of course lunch at the Pie Company!  It had been a few years since I had visited our children's museum, they have added many items and it is a really nice place to visit.  AJ had a blast, he loves to discover new things and it ended up being a great change of plans.  We will have to add this to our bucket list for winter also!
Always love my time with AJ
