Awwww Springtime

I am so ready for warmer weather and to be able to spend sometime outdoors!  I decorated the house this week for Easter!  AJ was so surprised and ready to go see the Easter bunny!

 

Parade with AJ

Saturday with AJ consisted of chocolate bunnies, the green parade and falling asleep with Kynedy.  It took AJ no time to find the chocolate bunny I had hidden for Easter...lol.  Nothing gets past this little guy!!

It was a wet and chilly Saturday but we still headed out to catch the St. Patrick's Day parade (or AJ's favorite color parade).  Let's just say AJ got a bit of candy...it was crazy, he got candy to last a year!!  He and I had a wonderful time, I can't wait for warmer weather so we can go on more adventures!!

Just Life

The last few years have been a time of adjustment for me, many things have changed in my life, career and personal.  Last week I was offered an awesome opportunity to be the Lead Executive Assistant for the CEO at Terre Haute Regional Hospital but chose to stay where I am, it was a very hard decision but in the end the extra time with my family was greater than the money.  You can make more money but you can't make more time! 

I actually bought myself a name brand purse.  

I really like it, now to load it up and use it.

This is a huge piece of Terre Haute history being torn down, I know at one time it was General Housewares but not sure what all was housed in the area.  I will have to do some investigating.

 

Weekend Fun with AJ

 

I had such a great time with AJ over the weekend.  I took Friday off so AJ stayed all night with us Thursday.  Oh what fun we had, for some reason AJ thinks he is 100 years old...lol.  

I went shopping and out to lunch with Kynedy on Sunday, we tried MOD pizza and it was so delicious.  I bought way too much Easter goodies for AJ, but hey your only 4 once!  

Ashton had his 28th birthday so we did a little celebrating with his family.  Monique cooked an awesome dinner Saturday night and we sang some karaoke. Of course, I stayed until about 10 and then headed home, it was a great time celebrating Ashton!!

Foosball

Roger put AJ's foosball table together this weekend, and oh my did we all have a blast!! AJ is so full of energy, LOVES to be a winner and could play games the whole day!!     

 

Nights with AJ

AJ stayed all night with Grandmom and Grandpop last Saturday, lots of fun was had by us all.  We played many board games, hung out in his favorite spot, cuddled, made hamburgers and had cinnamon rolls for breakfast.  He is a whole lot of fun!!
