Last Summer Friday

I spent my last Friday off shopping, eating and enjoying AJ's Blue Carpet Awards with Ali. We got AJ all set for school, had a wonderful lunch and enjoyed a nice program that afternoon.  AJ came home with me and stayed all night.  Kynedy arrived home from Las Vegas, and I got to catch up with her for a minute on Saturday.  AJ stayed all night Sunday night also, and we spent Monday together just hanging out at the house.  I have enjoyed my time off with my family this summer. 

 

Avery's Bridal Shower

AJ and I attended a bridal shower for my best friend's daughter Avery!  We had a great time, of course AJ enjoyed the pool, and I enjoyed catching up with old friends.

Sweet Furbabies

Kynedy spent a few days enjoying Las Vegas and I got the pleasure of watching their fur babies. Marley is the guard cat; I swear this cat would tear anyone up. I always enjoy caring for their fur babies while they are gone.  They all behaved their self.  It also gets me away from all the crazy stuff going on in the world.  I love my social media but stay off of it during this time, to me it is an escape from the normal, with all the political garbage it gets annoying and no fun! I stay away from politics but do have to say I am so worried about where our country is headed. I truly just hope for the best.

Friday at the Fair

I did manage to sneak in an evening at the fair with Ali and AJ.  We had a wonderful time, AJ enjoyed the rides, we all enjoyed the food and each other's company! AJ loves to talk to everyone he sees; he ended up making a few new friends to ride with.

 

July

 It has been a bit crazy for us during the month of July.  I am working on getting healthy after my hospital stay.  Many days of rest and follow up appointments, but I am getting there. Thankful for my husband and family.  Roger has been so supportive and very helpful during my recovery, and I do not know what I would do without my girls and their significant other families!  I am so blessed to have them all in my life.  Thank you again for all of your love.

Sunday

Sunday morning, I woke up sick right away, it escalated, and I ended up in the ER with many tests and an overnight stay. I am home now and on the mend.

I sure did miss my cats while I was gone, they can be a handful, but I would not know what to do without them.

Happy 4th

 

I spent the fourth with AJ, eating, playing games and watching movies.  That evening we met up with Nonnie, and the rest of his family to watch fireworks.  We had a great view, and all enjoyed our time together.  We were just missing Ms. Kynedy, she had a great birthday in Florida!
