Soccer Sunday Again

Ali, Kynedy and I headed to AJ's soccer game while the guys finished watching the football game.  AJ played well, the team they played were a bit older, but AJ's team kept playing hard. 

 

Bears vs Colts

Ashton holds season tickets for the Colts.  He and Roger had planned to go to the game Sunday, but with Roger's breathing, instead Ashton sold the tickets, and we all spent the day at Ali and Ashton's eating and watching the game.  It was a house divided!!!  Ashton made Philly sandwich's, wings and some Rotel dip.  We had yummy cookies and brownies for dessert.  It was so good to finally have us all together to celebrate.  The Colts came out with a win this time. 

Our house was well protected while we were out, we left Hobbes in charge LOL! Don't think you can make a bed with a cat around!

My cats wake me ever so early even on weekends for their breakfast, this Sunday it was a beautiful rose color outside and throughout the house. The picture does no justice, but it was a beautiful morning!!

Oh, September

Really...September is almost over!  We still have not been able to get together for birthdays this summer.  Looks like October will have to do! Sunday was here before I knew it, I was able to sleep in a bit and made it to AJ's soccer game.  Of course, mom and dad were there so no goals this week! lol! I stopped by to see Kynedy for a bit and headed home to work on laundry and have dinner. Roger made tacos and watched the Bears play and I watched Big Brother before we kicked off the work week!  

      

 

Hot Air Balloons!

Saturday after a long day of mowing the yard and working around the house.  Ali, AJ and I spent the evening at the balloon festival.  They have a wonderful kid's zone, yummy food trucks, great music and of course hot air balloons.  This was our second year, and we had a great time.   Glad Ali took a break from schoolwork, work, housework and just took time to relax!

We all ate smash burgers and fries from Berry's burgers!!

Sick Day

I stayed home last Friday ill with AJ; he had a pretty high fever and just wasn't feeling well.  We took it easy most of the day, he ran a temperature that morning but seemed much better throughout the day. We did some decorating around the house, and he played a little Fortnite. He sure didn't have much of an appetite, he didn't even eat his chocolate waffle!

I made AJ a nice lunch, he did eat some of the quesadilla but was happier with the frozen blueberries.
