End of Break

We rescheduled our Christmas party due to illness and were all able to get together Saturday evening before the snow hit.  We ordered pizza and played some games for prizes. It was good to have everyone together and healthy. We got an extra day off for break due to the snow.

I was unable to attend Christmas at Moniques, so I had gifts waiting for me. I joined their gift exchange and had Chuck's name.  Chuck had mine also. Monique got me the cup gift and Chuck got me the outfit.  It was all perfect.  I hate I missed celebrating with them.

On Sunday we got around 6 to 8 inches of snow, it was so beautiful to watch from inside! 

 

Sick Days

The next few days consisted of being in bed most of the time.  Of course I had lots of company, and they even watched the ball drop on New Years Eve with me!

Christmas = Flu From Hell

The girls came by Christmas afternoon to open their gifts.  I made it through them opening the gifts and then I was down with some type of illness. It hit me out of nowhere and I don't remember much from that afternoon. Before the night was over it had hit Roger also.  The next few days we spent in bed resting, it totally wore me down all I could do was rest.  After about a week we started to feel better.  

The girls helped so much by picking everything up and helping us while we were sick.

Christmas Day 2025 at AJ's

I was up early and headed out to watch AJ open his gifts. He always has an audience, Sincere came and opened a few gifts also. Ali and Ashton made a breakfast and had coffee ready for me.  I felt a bit spoiled!  AJ had a great Christmas morning, and was happy Santa brought him his Batcave!

Some Quiet Time

The next couple of days were spent finishing up with Christmas, cleaning the house and just enjoying our time off from work.

Christmas Eve was quiet this year, Roger and I made a nice dinner and watched a movie that evening.  AJ was able to go see the new Sonic movie over break!
