Happy Easter

AJ stayed all night on Saturday, Ali worked a 12 on Easter! Of course I was thrilled, we colored eggs, and later he found eggs hidden in the yard!! He got lots of goodies and enjoyed opening his eggs. Easter morning, he woke up to a basket from the Easter bunny and his favorite chocolate waffle. It was so much fun having a little one on Easter morning.

So, for the funny part now....I told Roger about three times someone would be hiding eggs in our yard, well who runs out the door in their robe because he thought someone was stealing stuff in our yard...yes it truly happened, it was hilarious, poor Rog!

Life Moves Fast

It seems this year is just flying by, with so many wonderful surprises! 

Ali really likes her position in ICU and is settling in well.  Since I am now semi-retired, I will be joining her and will start working at Union next week! I am so very excited and am looking forward to this new adventure! Roger and I have many projects we are working on around the house, so that has kept us busy.

Our girl Kynedy and Nate bought a house this month!! 10 more days and it is all theirs, it is a beautiful home and perfect for her and Nate, I am so happy for them.  I can't wait to help them get it cleaned up and moved in.  

AJ is doing great still loves hanging out at our house, so I take advantage of that as much as I can. He is doing great in 1st grade and is enjoying his sports!

I can't wait to get out and start working in my flower garden now that I am recovered. My tulips were beautiful this year.  I am very excited to plant flowers at Kynedy's also!!

I have really enjoyed being home the last month while recovering. I have got a laugh or two out of all the positions I find Hobbes sleeping in throughout the day. Our cats and front porch critters are definitely spoiled rotten!!

I will miss them when I start my next adventure!

 If you do not have a friend like Shari, you need to get one!!! We have been attending Bingo and last week this is the bingo dauber Shari showed up with. She could not figure out why it did not work.  She is the BEST! 😂😂😂

AJ Update

I have had a blast the last month taking AJ to school!! He is so sweet and so easy to get ready for school and says I make the best chocolate waffles! He is really not into photos lol, so this is the best I could get!

He had his first soccer game of the season last week, he and his team played a very good game, I am looking forward to watching him this season!

Springtime

I like to say "such is life" maybe a little too much lately! We have had some changes go on in our life lately, changes are not always bad and can be exciting as well as hard. I have much to update you on soon!  I have healed from my surgery and am feeling so much better!  I had planned to get my good camera out but never got the chance; I did take a few photos of various parks and my tulips in the area with my phone. 

Happy Easter. I will have AJ Easter night as his parents both work Easter, I have arranged to have eggs filled with goodies hidden in the yard and can't wait to watch him Easter morning!
