Blue's Fest
This summer Kynedy wrote an essay titled "What Music Means to Me" she won and ended up with a guitar and free lessons. Here she is accepting her award at the Blue's Fest!

Volleyball
Yes I am very proud of my girls! Kynedy is enjoying playing volleyball she is doing very well. She had a surprise from a wonderful lady she met at the nursing home Ida, she came to Kynedy's game and made her night. Ali and I had tears in our eyes when Ida's son brought her to the game, they drove across town just to watch Kynedy!

HOT Game
We had a bit of a delay in a game, they got the first half in under some really HOT weather. They were in Evansville and played on turf, the field was at 113 heat index. So they delayed the game from 12 noon until 6 pm. The girls all headed out to see a movie during their wait to return at 6pm to finish their game.

Life.....
This is a reminder to myself, although I try to be there for those who are hurting, it seems not everyone is willing to return the favor.
