Homecoming Weekend

Homecoming at Rose-Hulman was this past weekend.  It is always a busy weekend for our family. After leaving the Alumni Office I have had a few Homecoming weekends off until this year.  The Library has a short open house on Saturday and I got to work it this year.  We had a very nice turn out and it was great catching up with former students/now alumni!!  

This photo is from Friday morning of Homecoming, the freshman are finishing up the bon fire for the evening festivities!  They had to make an out house this year!

Apple Orchard Fun!

Saturday Ashton, AJ and myself went to Ditzlers Apple Orchard!  It was a beautiful day, and AJ really enjoyed the apples!!  I think he ate at least 2 while we were there and took a few home.  I took lots of photos and they all melt my heart!  I love going on adventures with my little buddy!  I have many more planned!

One Lonely Lilly

I LOVE flowers!  My mom and grandmothers always had beautiful flowers.  A friend of mine gave me some starts last year of some beautiful lilies.  They came up in the spring and had beautiful blooms in the summer.  This weekend this one lonely flower bloomed out of nowhere.  I sure enjoyed it from the kitchen window.  I don't think it is ready for winter either!

Tuesday Morning Sunrise

Beautiful October morning!  I love the month of October all besides it is getting closer to winter.... brrrr!!  It is my birthday and my sweet grandsons birthday month! We have a fun carnival theme party planned for our birthdays this year :)
