A Day of Baking

Sunday before Christmas we had our baking day at the house! Of course it started with coffee, and AJ joined in as well. We made Chex mix, Oreo balls, chocolate pretzels and many other goodies. This is one of my favorite days of the year, time spent with my girls is the best!

Boxed up and ready to be gifted!

Friday Night Game

We started the Christmas break with a basketball game, AJ was really into this game, he played so good and of course was on his man the whole time.

Catching Up

I am back to work and have some catching up to do. December came and went in a flash. AJ rode a float with Santa and the girls walked in the Light Your Way Parade this year!

Christmas Break

It is that time of the year for a break!  Looking forward to the next two weeks spent with family and relaxing.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!

This is a tree from campus the Groundskeepers decorated!

Ali's Lunch Celebration

Sunday, we celebrated Ali becoming an RN with lunch at Texas Roadhouse and had a great time.  We missed Grandma Shelby who was sick and in the hospital.  She is on the mend now!

So extremely happy for this family!

Oreo House with AJ

AJ spent the night Saturday, and I had planned to take him to see Christmas lights.  His idea was much different.... he said, "Just pick up McDonalds while I stay here with Gpa and you can show me pictures of Christmas lights". Yeah....he told me lol! He did build an oreo house.

Good-Bye Sweet Archie

I hate to even type this! If you know me, you know how I feel about my cats. Saturday was spent saying good-bye to my senior cat Archie. Archie was our 3rd family cat, the girls brought home a stray female and before too long we had kittens on our porch.  His dad was Arthur another stray that came around.  We kept Archie and I was able to find homes for mom and his litter mates.

Archie did not put up with much, he took off on the porch searching for any stray cat to fight with any time he could get out. He gave the best hugs (with his huge claws), but they were the best, he did not wonder far from me. He is already missed, rest peacefully, Archie.
