Hello February

We kicked off February with a clogged sewer drain!  Which is always fun, Roger spent the weekend working on the sewer line.

We worked around the house, cooked and just enjoyed the weekend.

I believe the cats have had enough photos, check out the looks (side eye) I am receiving. Lynk in a bowl!

Zelda - The only princess in the house and the smallest cat I have ever had. And boy does she have a big attitude.

100th Day at School for AJ

I had to share these adorable photos of AJ's 100th day of school.
He sure is an adorable old man!

Weekends

Weekends are always so short it seems.  I met Kynedy for breakfast so I could hear all about her trip to Dallas. I picked up AJ later that afternoon to stay the night. Of course, all he wanted was McDonalds and to hang out with Grandpa and play Fortnite!
My sweet Princess Zelda

My oldest cat Leo.
It was somewhat of a quiet weekend. I am still not feeling well and hope to have some answers after I see a surgeon this week.

Friday Night Basketball

AJ finished up his basketball season Friday night.  It was a pleasure watching him play...he has the best sense of humor!

Extended Weekend

We just finished a 3-day weekend for us! We now get Martin Luther King Day off.  AJ was able to make his basketball game Friday night, after not feeling great through the week. This sweet little man got 3 baskets!! He played so hard and was so proud of himself!  Besides going to AJ's game, we did not do much of anything besides work around the house and rest.

Kynedy is in Dallas for work this week, and although it is cold there, she is having a great time. I can't wait to hear all about her travels.

Big Mac staying warm and keeping me warm!

My beautiful youngest daughter!

Although we had Monday off, Roger had a procedure scheduled so we were up early and ready to go. It was all good news for him.
Love this man dearly!

Congratulations, Ali!

My sweet first born has accepted a position as an ICU nurse and I could not be prouder of her. This was her goal she set out to do after high school. She had to pivot a few times, boy did she succeed in the end. Ali is one of the most competitive and intelligent young ladies I have ever known.  I know she will be one of the best ICU nurses, I can't wait to watch her grow.

Congratulations, Ali!! We are all so happy for your success!

Such a lucky little guy, he has the best parents!

January

It has been cold and snowy since the new year began. We made it through the first week of work after break! I am still fighting stomach issues and was exhausted when Friday came along. I spent the evening resting; Saturday I caught up on laundry and more rest. Sunday Ali and AJ joined me for breakfast, we tried the new Blueberry Hill restaurant, it was very delicious, and the service was great.  We ran a few errands and then I headed home to get ready for the work week.

I always have lots of company when I am resting.
The moon was so bright Monday morning, not a great photo but it was beautiful.
