Strangers in our Trees.......

Saturday morning we received a bit of snow so it was a slow moving day for us. Around noon time the crows were going crazy and flocking to our yard. The last time this happened I looked out and they were following an owl that had landed in our pine tree. So this time I had to check and of course they were bugging a couple of hawks that had stopped for a break. This isn't the greatest picture (I took it out of the kitchen window) but it will have to do :)

After the Storm

Well back to work today, they actually closed Rose-Hulman for 1 1/2 days. School for the girls is still out so they got a total of four days off. Of course they have to make each day up at the end of the year...YUCK!!! Here are a few pictures around my work. It is such a beautiful campus and the ice just glistened all day! I am so ready for spring though!!

Wow what an ice storm!! We made it through without any problems, just a few branches in the yard and lots and lots of ice. The snow was really blowing in this picture!

2011 Lady Otters Basketball

First congratulations to Ali for making the team again this year....although we have had 5 games scheduled and only got to play one due to our lovely weather here!!! Also a HUGE congratulations for being a starter for the team! Good luck Ali!!
