Easter

Easter was a bit different this year.  Kynedy was out of town until the afternoon.  My mother has had some extremely hard times so I purchased the food and my nephew made the dinner for us.  It turned out to be a beautiful day and we had a wonderful lunch.  We also held a small egg hunt later that evening for my two big girls. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Another stray found their way to our front porch, and of course had kittens.  If you know anyone who would like and adorable kitten please let me know.

Soccer Saturday

A few shots of Ali's game last weekend, they ended up losing by two.  Just wait this upcoming weekend is the Midwest Classic boy will have some pictures from it.

Kynedy's 2nd Season of Otter Creek Soccer

Kynedy started her season last weekend also, she has had two games but decided to miss one to spend the weekend on a lake with a friend.  She is doing great and growing up way too fast it is hard to believe she is playing in the middle school league.

Travel Soccer with Ali

It is that time of the year, actually my favorite time,  I love watching my girls play soccer. Ali has played two games so far, she is on travel and they only play in the spring since they play for their high school in the fall. The team is made up of 3 or 4 different schools only 5 per school is allowed, it makes it really interesting because the girls have to get to know each other. We drove to the east side of Indianapolis for this game, and boy was it a gorgeous day!

In Memory.....

As I have said before the the last year has just not been very good, I know it will all pass and things will get better.  We had my oldest sister's memorial on her birthday, she passed in August of 2013 very quickly during some very hard times. It felt so good to have closure for her and my Grandmother who passed years ago.  I had not been to the cemetery for year. We had a small ceremony and then had a delicious lunch at my moms. Kynedy took flowers for all of the graves and found a baby who had only lived a few hours and saved one for it. 

I plan to make it back down for memorial day and to spend much more time remembering my loved ones who have passed.
