Sunsets....Sunrises

This was the sunset on Tuesday this week, I was spending the evening with Ali and AJ and stopped at the park for AJ to play, it was a gorgeous evening!

This was the sunrise this morning.  The weather has been pertfect this week which makes for some beautiful sunsets and sunrises, two of my favorite things!

Monday Sunrises

Weekends go way too fast!  Next thing you know it is off to work on a Monday morning.

  This morning sunrise did not dissappoint!

Sunrise Beauty

My new job gets me up and out of the house pretty early which allows me to see the sunrise.  This morning it was absolutely beautiful  The photos are not the best, I snapped them from my sidewalk as I was leaving for work. Sunrises and sunsets are always so beautiful!

Weekends

My Whole Heart

These are just a few photos of the weekend from my phone, I have not had time to download my camera.  He just melts my heart!  Saturday he and I had a fun day, we went to a couple back to school festivals with Jayce and Aiden and then spent the day walking to the park, eating pizza, playing outside and making some great memories!  I will post the other photos soon.

Money Well Spent

I saw this posted on social media the other day and had to share.  It is the truth, oh how I miss those days.....but the memories made and lessons learned will last forever.  Always so proud of my girls.

People always asked "Why do you pay so much money for your kids to do all their sports”? Well I have a confession to make; I don't pay for my kids to to do sports. Personally, I couldn't care less about what sport they do.

So, if I am not paying for sports what am I paying for?

- I pay for those moments when my kids become so tired they want to quit but don't.

- I pay for those days when my kids come home from school and are "too tired" to go to their training but they go anyway.

- I pay for my kids to learn to be disciplined, focused and dedicated.

- I pay for my kids to learn to take care of their body and learn how to correctly fuel their body for success.

- I pay for my kids to learn to work with others and to be good team mates, gracious in defeat and humble in success.

- I pay for my kids to learn to deal with disappointment, when they don't get that placing or title they'd hoped for, but still they go back week after week giving it their best shot.

- I pay for my kids to learn to make and accomplish goals.

- I pay for my kids to respect, not only themselves, but others, officials, judges and coaches.

- I pay for my kids to learn that it takes hours and hours, years and years of hard work and practice to create a champion and that success does not happen overnight.

- I pay for my kids to be proud of small achievements, and to work towards long term goals.

- I pay for the opportunity my kids have and will have to make life-long friendships, create lifelong memories, to be as proud of their achievements as I am.

- I pay so that my kids can be in the gym instead of in front of a screen...

- I pay for those rides home where we make precious memories talking about practice, both good and bad.

-I pay so that my child can learn the importance of time management and balancing what is important like school and keeping grades up

...I could go on but, to be short, I don't pay for sports; I pay for the opportunities that sports provides my kids with to develop attributes that will serve them well throughout their lives and give them the opportunity to bless the lives of others. From what I have seen so far I think it is a great investment!

Sweet Kitten

It happened again, a kitten found their way to me, this time Ali took it home!!  Poor girl was hysterical as soon as Ali picked her up she was as calm as can be.  Looks like AJ has a new kitty!  There are so many animals that need rescued, I would rescue them all if I could!

Kynedy's First Day of her Senior Year

I didn't get to see her off to school this morning since I had to be at work at 7:00.  She worked until the last minute on her senior jeans and they look awesome.  I am so proud of the young lady she is becoming and can't wait to see what the future holds for her.  I sure hope she enjoys her day!  Love you oh so much my sweet KynSue

Kynedy is a Senior

Rather I want to believe it or not on Tuesday, Kynedy will start her first day of her senior year.  We had a quick senior photo shoot on Okaloosa Island.  She is such a beautiful, intelligent young lady.  I am so proud of her and can't wait to see what she does in the future!
