Saturday with AJ

I took AJ on a little adventure to see the Easter bunny Saturday morning.  We walked Meadows until the bunny arrived, at first AJ wasn't so sure, he did let me get a photo of him with the bunny though, I will share later. He was such a good little guy and really enjoyed getting out and walking. We went home and colored eggs and played outside. Ali and Ashton came over that evening for dinner, it was a wonderful day!

This weekend I was able to get Easter decorations out and get Easter baskets ready.  AJ is going to love hunting for eggs this year. His house is getting egged Saturday night before Easter.

Mr. Gray is still hanging around our place, he was injured over the winter and I was able to get ointment on him, which helped heal his cheek.  Either a possum or raccoon got ahold of him.  So happy he is all healed. He could be the next grouchy cat, he never looks happy.

Finally flowers are starting to bloom!  It seemed like a very long winter, maybe because of all the restrictions due to COVID.  I am fully vaccinated as of Monday, looking forward to things getting back to normal sooner than later. I even had a red headed woodpecker stop by.

Kynedy decided she wanted to start doing live on facebook and sell jewelry bombs.  She is such a motivated young lady!  She and I both ordered a ring and revealed them Monday evening.  Mine was a gorgeous aquamarine and Kynedy's was a citrine yellow.  I will have to take some photos of the rings and share.

Crazy Times

We had a GREAT but busy weekend.  But I wanted to start with this post.  It all happened Saturday evening when I received a phone call from Kynedy, she sounded very panicked. I have included the link to the story, but the witness was Nate and some of his friends, thank the Lord he was there.  The suspect jumped in the wrong bed of a truck.  Nate and his friends took him down until the police arrived.  The young lady is recovering and happened to be a co-worker of Kynedy's. Nate is doing fine and just happy the young lady is ok.

First Tuesday with AJ

 

This semester Ali has in person clinicals/classes so I am picking AJ up at school on Tuesday and Thursday! Yesterday was the first day I got to pick him up, we got donuts, watched the Grinch and played outside. I am so thankful for this opportunity to be able to spend this extra time with him.  He was perfect, of course!!
