Love Long Weekends

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend!  Christian made Thanksgiving lunch on Thursday for mom and me, then I headed to Moniques to celebrate with their family and then on to see Kynedy at Nate's.  Friday the girls and I did some shopping, put up Christmas decorations and did some late evening online shopping as we usually do on black Friday, knocking out a lot of shopping and saving tons of money!  Saturday and Sunday were pretty low key, I did some housework, laundry and decorated outside.  

We started scheduling and planning some big time celebrating after our crazy Christmas last year! AJ was a hoot Friday evening as we shopped, very busy and silly for sure! Looking forward to an upcoming weekend of fun with him!

Quiet Weekend

Last weekend Kynedy and I made it to Bingo, Ali had to work early thew next morning,  we walked away winning $55 this time; we had a great time! Saturday Ali and I made a Sam's run, and I was able to find many Christmas gifts.   I worked around the house and caught up on some sleep the rest of the weekend.

Not the best picture as there was lots of movement.  I went out to give 1 kitty a snack and next thing you know we have 4 on the porch! We are missing one, they all belong next door.

 

Friday

It was another beautiful drive to work!  The sunrise was absolutely stunning!  As I turned onto the back road into work I ran into a buck running after a doe, the doe was coming right for me for a minute.  The photos are a bit blurry, but they were moving fast!

AJ's Fall Festival

It has been many years since I have attended a fall festival at a school.  It was so nice to tag along and attend AJ's Fall Festival last night.  He had a great time, they had games, snacks and raffle baskets.  He loved seeing all of his friends the most!

Weekend Fun with AJ

Some photos of the fun we had this weekend.  AJ also started basketball this past weekend and really liked it.  I can't wait to watch him next weekend.  He had a blast at the arcade, he really liked the Jurassic Park game and Space Invaders.

 

First Snow of the Season

It snowed Saturday, about a couple inches that did not last long.  AJ loved the snow and now knows how to throw a snowball.  I picked AJ up Saturday evening to spend some time at the arcade and then stay all night!  It was a GREAT weekend!

The Moon and the Sun

Today's photos are interesting as the moon was behind me and the sunrise was in front of me as I drove to work. I left home in time to pick up some ice coffee and have a concert in car all the way to work! lol!!  Thinking back to this time last year and the obstacles my family faced, it was a very rough holiday season, looking forward to less stress and a bit more celebration!  

 

November

Wow that went so fast!  I can't believe it is already November, it seems like it has been nonstop for the past couple of months.  We had a blast Friday evening at bingo, no yelling bingo but we did win a little.  I sure enjoy this time with my sweet girls.  

I am loving the time change; it is so nice to drive into work to the sunrise again.   

 

 

BINGO

Wow, has it been absolutely beautiful outside.  I watched the sunset last night and the sunrise this morning, both were absolutely gorgeous.  No photos of sunset, I was mowing.  

Tonight, we are finally back to bingo after a short break.  Can't wait to catch up with my girls and yell out "BINGO".

Happy Halloween

What a fun couple of weeks celebrating birthdays and Halloween festivities! Sunday evening Ali and I took AJ trick or treating a few places by our house.  Of course, we had to make a trip to the skeleton house by the park!  This first photo is my FAVORITE, I love the way he just stopped and stared at that skeleton.  He ended up going through the haunted house with us and wasn't that scared!

He was truly the cutest little Luigi!

 

He had to hang out with Grandpa and play switch for just a little while until he headed home to bed!  

 

Fall 2022 Soccer Season

AJ finished up his soccer season last Sunday.  He learned so much this season and really started to enjoy playing!  He is ready to move on to basketball this winter!
