Front Porch

What A Huge Mess!!!! But it will so be worth it when it is done. We decided to have a screened in front porch which I am very excited about. I love to sit on the porch and feel a nice breeze in the evening. Before, the porch was home to mostly toys and building supplies so it will be a nice change to be able to finally use it as a front porch!! Roger went out and picked up the supplies to rebuild it and a new screen door!! I will post more pictures soon.

Soccer has begun!

Kynedy had her first soccer game of the season on Sunday. She is in U10 now, they start playing in positions and with a goalie, so far she is enjoying the change. Ali and her friend Faith went to cheer Kynedy on.

Our New Friend

Well Sunday morning as I was casually doing my dishes I couldn't help but notice something moving in the yard. It was a flicking movement so I had to go see what it was. It was a baby squirrel who had fallen out of the tree and was injured.....I tried to leave it alone but just couldn't. So now it is living in a cat carrier on my back porch, I am feeding it baby formula and fresh veggies. I have tried to find someone who will help it, but no luck so far. I sure hope it survives and I can let it free sometime.

Silly teenage girls

There is never a dull moment when you have a teenage girl and her friends around. I had to drag both of them around with me Sunday wearing their LOSER band-aids. Never really figured out what they were for. All I could think of was Thing 1 and Thing 2!!! Needless to say the looks we received were very interesting.

Progress...Progress...I say!!!

Well as you know our roof has been redone this summer. Boy what a long summer and I know it has been long for my husband, he has done the hard work. But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is what we have left to do, our front porch and boy was it a mess!!! As you can see we have on whole side ripped off. The plan is to have a screened in front porch. It has been enclosed and all though the storage room is nice I am ready for a porch I enjoy sitting on. So stay tuned to see how it turns out.

Waiting

Ali started practicing a few weeks before Kynedy and every time we picked Ali up Kynedy would say oh when is my practice. So here she is finally her practices started. She is excited again to be playing soccer. Good luck Kynedy!!!!

Where am I going and what time???

I seem to say this through September and October every year!!! We have been very busy with school and sports since September began. It is my favorite time and there is nothing else I would rather be doing than watching my girls play sports. Ali is in her 2nd week of volleyball and so 2 and 0. She is doing an awesome job and I can't wait until her next game. This weekend is the kick off of soccer also, we have practiced for a few weeks but it officially starts for Kynedy Sunday and Monday for Ali. I am really looking forward to some really good games! I have posted a few volleyball pictures of Ali. Ali is serving great this year
