Kynedy's Ring Ceremony

Saturday was a very special day for Kynedy!  She received her SMWC ring, it means so much to a Woodsie, and we could not be any prouder of her.  She had limited tickets and it was a packed house.  It was held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception on campus and was a beautiful ceremony!

Cold Weekend

I am patiently waiting for it to get warm and stay warm!!  The weekend went quickly!!! I stayed around the house, AJ came by and visited, we got his air tent out and played a few games. Kynedy worked most of the weekend, so I delivered food on Sunday and grabbed a quick hug.  She has a huge Saturday coming up, she has worked so hard, and I can't wait to see her receive her ring!  So hard to believe I will soon have two college graduates.  

AJ was busy as usual which makes it is so hard to get any photos, but I did get as couple decent ones!  Same with Zelda, she is for sure a busy body!!

Hello Thursday

It was a beautiful start to what would become a rainy Thursday.  I sure enjoyed the sunrise as I headed into work. I spent Wednesday evening at my mom's having cake for her birthday, I am so blessed to have her.

Great Weekend

I spent time this weekend with some of my favorite people.  I kept a close eye on mom while Chris was working, celebrated Ashton's birthday and AJ stayed all night! I celebrated with Ashton's family Saturday evening; it was so much fun, great food, and great people!!  AJ headed home with me and stayed all night after the party.  As usual he was a ball of fun and we all had a great time.

Quiet Week

I think I rested every evening this week, it was a good week and mom has done very well since returning home.  I sure have missed my little man and plan to catch up with him this weekend.  We celebrate Ashton's birthday and my mom's this week and Zelda had her third visit to the vet and is now over 4 lbs. She has now received all her vaccinations and she is scheduled for spay in April.

March Came Quickly

 

It does not seem like March already.  We had the same issue with mom again last week and had to call an ambulance, they were able to get her oxygen up again, it was in the 70's when she arrived. They determined she has had a small stroke at some time. After 5 days in the hospital, she is home now and doing pretty good, she truly is the toughest lady I know. 

We had a fairly quiet weekend catching up on a few things. Zelda has discovered the TV and seems to enjoy watching it! She keeps us busy!

My first bloom of the year!  This brings me so much happiness, I can't wait to get out and work with my flowers.

Every single morning, we play with her favorite pink ball! 

My mother will probably kill me for this, we are approaching the 10 year of her devastating fall and I am so grateful to still have her in our lives. She has always put others needs before hers and has handle many obstacles with such grace.  I have always admired her strength and compassion I am so blessed to have her as my mother.
