Crazy World

I had a great memorial day weekend and have many photos, but am going to start with these after everything that has been going on in the world! These are photos from around my yard and a few from my mother's house. She passed her love of flowers off to me, so I try to help keep her yard beautiful and full of flowers for her to view.  I visited with her outside, social distancing on Monday, Christian and I planted flowers and cleaned her back yard a bit.  While working at home I have gotten to enjoy my flowers so much.

I wish someone would have acted to save George's life, he didn't deserve to die, and the officer is a horrible murderer!! I hope my grandson never has to endure this,  It's a sad world today!

My new wind chime

My Clematis just blooming
These are my mom's roses and Japanese Iris,
which I am going to take some starts from this year

Peonies will always remind me of my Grandma Harper, her yard was full of them, you could almost smell the fragrance across the street from my yard.

Surprises

Shari stopped by last Thursday after work to drop off a basket of goodies for Kynedy.  I sure have some of the best friends.  It sure put a smile on my girls face during all of this craziness.

Little Things

Monday morning as I strolled my sidewalk to see how many new buds/blooms my flowers gained over night. I was so EXCITED to see my hibiscus bush was blooming, this is my all time favorite flower, it does not do well in cold weather, so I plan to take it to my office when the cold comes back (my cats would eat it).  It is the most beautiful, hot pink in color!

As I was filling the bird feeder, I noticed these red finger looking fungus growing in my yard, I found a few names online for it like stinkhorn, and devils fingers.  All I know is it looked like a hand coming out of the ground.

WAITING ever so patiently

I love the enhancement I did on this photo

A Short Walk

I am that grandma who gets in their car, drives to my grandson's, just to take him for a walk!! After the walk we ran to Starbucks, where he devoured a chocalate cake pop!!  I am just a few minutes away from picking him up for a few hours of fun today!!

These are a few photos of our walk yesterday!
Have a blessed day!
