Fall in Indiana

Fall in Indiana is absolutely gorgeous!  The trees are a bit late changing this year but the last few days have been perfect for someone who loves photography like me.  Of course fall is my favorite time to shoot some scenery pictures, the colors reflect off of everything surrounding them which makes a gorgeous photo! These were taken at Hawthorne park in the back and a couple are from Rose-Hulman's campus. I really don't like cold weather but always look forward to more time inside with family, hot soup on the stove over the weekend and the silence that comes with the winter months.  I do hope to hold onto Fall just a few more weeks.

Strange Things are Happening!

Sunday we had some pretty fierce winds, I spent the day at home with AJ, cooking and just getting some things done around the house.  Monday morning I left for work got a few blocks away and noticed a sound like something was on my roof, pulled over to find my sunroof was busted.  I assumed a limb had hit it but when I got back home and took a good look at it I realized it looked as if it had exploded.  Well after some investigation that is exactly what it did..  No branch, no sign of anything that could have been thrown at it. I guess this kind of things happens more than we know, the assumption is the wind caused pressure and the sunroof exploded. So I am waiting for the part and should have my car back by Wednesday.
Like I say very strange things are happening!

Pumpkin Works

I spent Saturday at Pumpkin Works with AJ and his family.  This is the last year they will be opened.  I have so many memories with my nieces and nephews and my own girls at the Pumpkin Patch.  It is hard to believe it will be closing. Saturday was a beautiful day, AJ was a little tired but had a great time.  Then he stayed all night with Grandma and Grandpa for the first time, he did great. He has such a precious personality and loves to give hugs and kisses we had such a great time just watching him!!  I can't wait to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with him.
