Beautiful Things

It is that time of the year again for mother nature to show her beauty!  I am all for the natural beauty of nature and an individual. The energy you release is what makes you so beautiful and unique, not the make-up, the fake lashes, money, vehicle, house or anything materialistic. You are enough the way you are, the love you send to your family and friends, that smile on your face, the way you look when you are surprised...that is pure beauty!

I took a few simple photos the last few days that make me happy, I hope it brings some joy to you as well!

This makes me so happy; it is time for me to get outside and work in my beautiful flowers! 

Just a few Easter decorations, Easter came pretty fast this year, I can't believe it is this weekend.  I hope everyone gets the time you need with your loved ones and enjoy the Holiday weekend!

Thursday with AJ

What fun we all have with AJ! I was lucky to have him stay all night two nights in a row.  Kynedy hung out with him on Wednesday and Thursday he and I had a day of fun!  Of course, he woke up to his favorite chocolate waffles and some mandarin oranges, boy does this little guy like to eat!  After some breakfast and a "victory royal" win on Fortnite we headed out to do a little shopping.  AJ found a nerf gun and we added Fish and Chips to our cat's vs pickle collection.  AJ choose to get pizza (he is a teenage mutant ninja turtle) and we headed to the park for some lunch and some time at the playground. 

He was ready to head home and see his mom and dad, boy did Grandmom have a blast, I absolutely LOVE days with AJ!

Break Time

This is spring break for AJ, I took a couple days off to spend some time with him. We had a pretty quiet weekend, staying inside and getting some work done.  I did manage to get some rest, not sure I slept as well as the cats below, but I tried!

I found this awesome bowl on clearance at Aldi's, I was so excited, I brought it home and said I will find something to use it for. Lynk found it first!  

AJ stayed all night Sunday night at our house. Kynedy, Ali, AJ and I all went and ate lunch at Coffee cup, played a little Fortnite, colored Easter eggs and got to play outside for a bit.  It was a great first day of Spring break!

Waiting On Spring

The weekend was chilly, so no yard work.  I ran errands and got ready for Ashton's dirty thirty party!  It was such a nice time, Kynedy went with me, and AJ came home to stay the night. Of course he couldn't wait to play Fortnite!  He slept very well and ate his fair share of chocolate waffles for breakfast.

Lazy Weekends

Just a few photos from the past weekend.  It was a quiet one, with lots of time spent with my kitties!  It is still a bit chilly to start my yard work, but soon I will be out and about.

Thirty...No Way!

This month one of my favorite people will turn 30!  I have known this gentleman for a decade now and am so blessed to have him in our family.  He is an awesome partner, father and person.
