Stray Kitty Cats

I am the "Cat Whisperer"

I have no idea how it happened, but cats just keep showing up, and of course I feed them.  These are just a few that have visited the last few days including two that stay here most of the time.

Mr. Big....he is a sweetheart, he is neutered, and declawed (front and back) he would be inside, but he marks his territory and would do that all over my house.  So instead he lives on my porch, he is  a gentle giant and is absolutely gorgeous!!!

Mr. Gray....he stays pretty close also, he is not so gentle, he doesn't like to wait for his food and is very vocal about it.
He was yawning in this photo!

 He always looks so grumpy!
This cat lives a block over but comes to eat, he growls and hisses at me as I feed him, it is rather comical.
Big Eyes....he was born last spring and comes around a lot also, he is very friendly and loves to be petted.  He has the most beautiful eyes, it looks like he has eyeliner on.

 He is so BEAUTIFUL!

Out and About

Just patiently waiting to see my sweet grandson and mother!

It has been over a month, a very long month, I do have to say the whole staying at home is perfect for me, I just wish all of my family could be here and I could pick AJ up anytime I wanted.  I have been able to visit with Ali a couple of times at least 6 ft. apart, but it was nice to catch up.

AJ's poor sandbox waiting also.

Gas is cheap and no where to go
Lonely bird feeder, no food yet.

America is suffering so bad right now

Hearts for Vigo County

These are photos around the North end of town,  Kynedy and I took a little drive and caught up this afternoon.  This is something people started as a thank you to the essential and healthcare workers.

Work Work Work

I kind of feel like the days are running into each other and all I do is work, although I am thankful to be able to work from home.

I did decide to join in on some fun and participate in adopting a senior, I put my two seniors up for adoption also.  I ended up adopting 3 seniors, I couldn't help it they deserve the recognition.  I have ordered a few things for them so far and are awaiting their arrival, I will post the items before I send them. I am very excited to be able to brighten their day!!!!

Ali received her first item today, $25 gift card and a toy for AJ.  I got to listen to how happy he was on the phone to receive his fishing pole, it made my day.

Pretty Weird Easter

It was the weirdest Easter with all this shit going on.  It had been a pretty quiet day, really boring and Kynedy shows up with gifts for all of her loved ones.  I swear she is the sweetest, I was very sad not seeing AJ hunt for eggs or being able to hug my girls, so I know everyone else was sad and missing family.  I took Kynedy to deliver all of her goodies, I think it made everyone happy.  I am so proud of her, she truly was born with the kindest heart,  Thank you Kynedy for making everyone's Easter a little brighter!

Goodies from Kynedy
 Strawberry cake and Fajitas!
We saw a few decorated doors and windows

 Cheeto just fits

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!  I sure am missing my family, I am a huge holiday person.  I gave the girls money and I sent AJ's Easter basket home with Ali to give him this morning.  While having my coffee this morning thoughts of Easter when I was child filled my head.  Oh the excitement, my mom always had a celebration for every holiday, I remember hunting for candy throughout the house, coloring eggs and then hunting for them.  My grandma would make a huge Easter lunch.  I remember getting up and putting on my Easter dress and running all the way to my aunt Barbara's house so I could attend Easter service with them.  I do have to say I had a great childhood.

One thing I noticed this morning...…..It came today, it came without fancy dresses, it came without little boys in new scratchy neck shirts, it came without baskets filled with soon to be lost gadgets that pop and zing, it came without cleaning our homes for guest and spending money and time in food for many that only last seconds, these are all wonderful joyful things that we have created, some of us drive ourselves crazy trying to make the perfect meal, or dressing our children for the perfect picture, but through the years we have created an Easter that’s far from the meaning, like we do on most holidays, the true power about this holiday is, this virus can and has done many bad things, but it does not have the power to stop time, so if you do nothing else today just reflect on the power of life and how it came to us and how we still have control of our lives and how precious time and family truly are. Happy Easter to all whether your at home or work and just know you are all loved by many.
