L U C K Y

I say it a lot but we are LUCKY!  We have two beautiful, VERY SMART, kind, respectful young ladies!  And to top it off we were blessed with the sweetest, funniest grandson EVER.  Last night hanging out with AJ just reminded me of all the exciting things to come in our family the next few years. This season of parenting is getting so exciting and rewarding, all the things we have taught our girls is beginning to show!

To say we are blessed is an understatement!

This photo is so sweet, Cheeto has been the best cat ever and I caught the two of them having a bit of a stare down after we told AJ he couldn't lay on Cheeto.
Notice....Cheeto is not moving..

Good Friends and Coffee

Sunday I headed out to Little Bear Coffee to meet some friends. It was their first day to be open on Sunday and Boy Scouts were selling handmade coffee cups.  The coffee was great and my friends were even better.  We are going to make this an every Sunday morning thing!

Here is the handmade cup I bought,
I am going to give it to my mother!

These two ladies  and I have some great memories together!

Saturday with AJ

AJ came to hang out with grandma and grandpa Saturday!  We spent the evening watching "Up", eating pizza and playing!
He is truly the sweetest little guy ever!

He said awww cool most of the evening!

Making Progress

Our very interesting living room!  It is getting there, what a mess plaster is!! Our house if very old with lots of character,!  After the tree fell on it and we were able to get the outside done we still have work to be done on the inside.  And now since our girls are older and not as busy we have the time.  I will be glad once the plaster and dry wall are done and it can be painted and put back together.

Our house had two front doors, this one we covered up back in the early 90's. I will post more pictures as we go along!

Hello Weekend...

I am ready to get the weekend started, I have no big plans just ready for some down time. I picked AJ up from school again last night to spend time with us, he was a busy, busy boy!  He had a lot of fun playing with a popcorn bowl, he sure keeps me entertained!

Pulling into campus this morning from the back entrance, I believe it was the light reflecting off of the fog, this was at 7:15 this morning.

Time with AJ

I picked this little guy up from school yesterday so he could hang out and have pizza with grandma and grandpa.
Time spent with grandchildren is the BEST!

He is learning so much, we had fun naming the colors last night!
I get to pick him up again tonight!

Bye 2019

I am glad to say good bye to 2019, it was a very weird year!  There were good and bad times all mixed together.  I experienced some really nasty depression due to some events that happened in my life, and I promised myself to do everything in my power to get back to myself in  2020.  We did have the best family vacation to Okaloosa Island, we made some great memories and were able to take the girls significant others this year!

Thank you to those who took the time to check on me, it is really appreciated!

Here are some photos I took at the end of 2019.

Christmas at Home

We had a great Christmas!  Christmas morning was wonderful, Kynedy had to work so she missed celebrating with extended family on Christmas eve.  Ali, Ashton and AJ came over mid morning, we made a breakfast casserole, we all ate breakfast and opened some presents!!  I LOVE buying gifts so I always go overboard for Christmas, it is so worth it time just flies!

Nights with AJ

I FINALLY downloaded pictures on my camera from the end of December.  Roger and I had a 2 week break during the holiday, this little guy stayed the night twice!!  He is growing up so fast.
Being a grandma is the BEST!!
