May was Awesome

May was such a busy and eventful month for us. So many wonderful things happened for our family! I am looking forward to another beautiful spring weekend!

Love this Iris

Happy 1st Birthday, Sweet Brothers!

May 30th the three kittens turned 1 year old!  They received toys, special food and treats to celebrate! It has been a great year for us all, I am so happy we were able to give them a good home.

It all started with Emma!
Lynk and Hobbes
Archie yawning!

Leo turned 10 this month also!

Zelda cleaning up after her treat.

Here they are Big Mac, Hobbes and Lynk.  They are huge, Big Mac was always big, but Lynk and Hobbes were tiny kittens. For a while we were not sure Hobbes would make it, look at them now!

Work and Air Show

This weekend is the air show, I have spent the last couple days watching and listening to them practice above campus.  I would like to get out and see some of the show this weekend.

Some Time Off

As Ali and her friends left for a wedding, I took a few days off to keep AJ.  We had such a great time, we had Ritters for an evening snack, he played Fortnite with Nick and Luke and got to stay up late, the next day we spent outside with Nick playing Legos, throwing King Kong and Godzilla around, enjoying a frosty and having lunch at Green Acres again.  He had soccer practice and then came back for pizza and to stay with Grandpa the next day.

AJ and his dirt and worms ice cream!

I had the black raspberry; it was delicious, and we took home a snickers avalanche to Roger!

I love that smile!

Need your Nails Done?

Kynedy and Ali came over Sunday evening so Kynedy could do Ali's nails for a wedding.  She came with a huge tub with all of her supplies, I was pretty impressed with her work. This could be a great 2nd job!

More Saturday Fun

After Green Acres we went home and set up AJ's bounce house, Nick came over and the two of them had a blast! It was a wonderful Saturday full of many adventures!

Green Acres

AJ decided Saturday would be full of adventures so after strawberry picking, we took a trip for lunch and ice cream to Green Acres.  Again, another childhood memory, I spent many days riding bikes with friends there, taking family trips for late night ice cream and watching the buffalo. We had smash burgers, fries and of course the bluest ice cream of all!!  AJ played on the playground for a bit and then we headed out for our next adventure.

Strawberry Picking

Saturday Ali, AJ and I went to Ditzler's Orchard to pick some strawberries.  We picked close to 10 pounds.  I spent many days as a child picking strawberries with my grandma, aunts and mom, it brings back such good memories!

That smile!

Part of my heart!
