Beautiful Weekend

What a beautiful weekend we had.  I am a bit behind posting soccer photos and still need to download my camera. One of my favorite things to do is work with flowers!  Below are photos of flowers in my yard so far this year.  It was a great weekend; I hope to post the rest of my photos soon.

Last Weekend

It seems we fit a whole LOT in just two short days, but they are always some of the best days!  I did my mowing on Friday evening to get it over with, Saturday AJ had a 10am soccer game, he played very well.  The rest of the day consisted of laundry and work around the house.

Sunday Ali, AJ and I went to Little Bear, I got my biscuits and gravy, and AJ had a cub bomb, and some sun chips and Ali enjoyed a bagel sandwich and coffee.  AJ came home with me; we dropped off lunch for Kynedy at work and spent the day just hanging out.  After I took him home, I went to visit my mom.  Next thing I know it is 10 pm.

Update on Zelda

This cat....oh this cat, she is absolutely amazing! She is 3 weeks post-surgery and is back to normal, jumping, doing zoomies, and being her sweet self.  She has so much personality, curiosity and is very intelligent.  So far, I have taught her how to give you five for a snack.  I don't have great photos as she never sits still, unless she is asleep.  Found out she is actually a Seal Point Tortoiseshell Siamese!

 

Fun Weekend

 

I had a crazy, busy, and FUN weekend.  I started Friday off with dinner at Real Hacienda with Shari, Nikki and the boys.  AJ was sick or he and Ali would have come.  It was a great time and was good to catch up with them. 

 Saturday Ashton, Ali and AJ came over to hang out for a bit, I had dinner at Logan's with Nate's family to celebrate his birthday.  And Sunday I met some friends at Little Bear for some coffee including my girls and a couple of our littles.  Aj went home with me, and we spent the day together. I need time to recover from weekends!

The Little Things

It truly is the little things that keep us going.  We may not even notice it, until after the moment is gone.  I find myself stopping and just taking in everything about that moment and how it made me feel.  There is no better feeling than being with those who you love and calm your soul.  Watching my sweet Zelda girl sleeping so sound, the sunlight shining through my birds and through the window, sitting down for dinner and your grandson turns around and starts the conversation with "How was work Grandma"? A sweet text from my college age child, and your grown child planning and asking you to vacation with them.  These things, ALL of these things make life so glorious!

At first, I wasn't too happy to have 6 new cats the neighbors left behind, but then who wouldn't want these sweet babies loving on you!  It is a lot, but we are managing.

AJ stayed all night Saturday, we watched some movies and spent time just hanging out, he is so grown up, looking forward to hanging on the beach with him!
