More Thursday Evening Stuff

This was Ali's last Boys & Girls Club game of the season, her season was short due to soccer and a sprained ankle but she did well, and ended with no fouls her last game WOOHOO!!   She has basketball try outs at her school on Monday, and Kynedy will start basketball next week.  She got this ball and was able to get it to her teammate, it was rather funny watching her roll around on the ball to protect it..LOL!

She played on a 7th grade team because only two 8th graders signed up, she was the only one to have points on the board during this game until the last quarter, they were playing a very good 8th grade team.

Ali's last soccer game of the season was Thursday evening, they finished with a 9 to 2 win and with a perfect season!! It was a little chilly but not too bad and I am so glad we did not have to play on Halloween.

Charity Disco

Thursday evening turned out to be CRAZY for us.  When the week started all that was planned for Thursday was a basketball game, by Tuesday Kynedy had a disco to attend and Ali's last soccer game was rescheduled for Thursday evening also.  Needless to say with help from friends I was able to have the girls at their events.  I only missed the first half of Ali's soccer game.  It was the first time Kynedy's school had sponsored a disco, you could wear your costume or not and as you see Kynedy wore a dress.  I picked up Erika from after school care, got the girls ready ran and picked up 2 other friends of Kynedy's dropped them at school and made a mad dash to the soccer field.  Here are the girls all ready for the evening of dancing and games!!

It was another beautiful warm evening for a soccer game! Ali's team won 5 to 1, she was so glad to be able to play again and did an awesome job!!  Her game for next week has been moved to tonight, I will miss part of so I can drop Kynedy and 4 of her friends off at a Halloween disco at her school!!  I will get there for about 20 minutes of the game and then we will head to the Boys Club for Ali's last basketball game there.   Next week is basketball try outs at Ali's school and Kynedy will start her basketball season at the Boys Club!  So after this Sunday it is all basketball!

Two more weeks of soccer!

Actually only one more week of soccer, it is bittersweet for me, I enjoy the time with girls away from the TV and other vices, but miss my time at home....before I know it spring season will begin LOL!!!  And of course we are just coming into basketball season!   We have been very fortunate and have had awesome weather, it started out a bit sketchy on Sunday with sprinkles but by time we arrived at the fields it was clear and dry!! YAY!!!

Weekend Fall Fun with Friends!!

I had a GREAT weekend!!!  Friday evening I spent with Kynedy at her Fall Festival at school, it was a blast with good food and plenty of friends.  I have no photos because it is way too crowded to try to get photos.  Ali spent the evening at the movies watching Paranormal Activity 3 and then all day Saturday at the Covered Bridge Festival so I did not have to go to the soccer fields for her to ref.  That evening, Kynedy, Ali, T and I headed out to spend the evening at a good friends eating, playing games and going on hay rides!!  It was a fabulous evening!

Again we had a great time, I spent some of the evening playing corn hole with my uncle, cousin and his son, it was a blast!!
