I took a Saturday and spent the day at Splash Island with my girls and Nate's family.

One of my favorite parts of summer is watching my flowers grow and tending to them. 

They were absolutely beautiful this year!

Kynedy is 15!!

It is so hard to believe my firecracker baby is 15. We had a small get together at our house for Kynedy's birthday this year. It was wonderful, I made tacos and we celebrated with cake. We decorated and Ali, Ashton and Nate joined us and then Kynedy spent the evening watching fireworks with Nate. We also had a small gathering at my mother's house to celebrate her birthday.

Today as I type this my Siamese Sapphire is not doing very well, he has been with us for over 15 yrs and has been ill for over 2 yrs when I left home this morning he could barely move, I am sure it will be a sad weekend for us.  Our fur babies mean the world to us.

Summer where have you gone?

I am a fan of Summer and Fall but enjoy the calmness that comes during the summer months. I love the Fall weather but with school, soccer and a new grandson on the way Fall will be a busy, busy time for my family. I also appreciate good friends, I had the opportunity to catch up with one of my best friends, Shari last weekend. We spent the day hanging at the pool watching her precious grandsons enjoy the pool. Ali and Nikki came along also and we all had a great time. I so appreciate the friendship we have had over the last 20 or so years, her life is a crazy one and she is one strong lady I really admire her!

Kynedy has spent the last week in Florida with her boyfriend and his family, I am so ready for her to be home!!  Ali is doing great, they have started putting AJ's room together and she is getting so excited!  I am also ready to spoil my Grandson, and watch him grow!

Camping/Boating

We went on our annual camping/boating trip the beginning of July with our friends.  There were around 20 of us.  We all had a great, relaxing time hanging by the campfire and just enjoying being outside.  It was Kynedy's boyfriend Nate's first time camping with us.  We celebrated Ben's 40th birthday by decorating the campground and having a huge dinner Saturday evening.

Other than doing much work on the house this summer I have been busy preparing for Ali's baby shower and gearing up for school and soccer season.  Kynedy leaves this evening for Destin, Florida she will be gone for 10 days, and I will be lost.  So happy she has this opportunity.  Ali is doing great with her pregnancy, she is almost 7 mos. yikes that went fast.  I have really enjoyed having my girls here working with me this summer, I have the BEST girls in the world.

I LOVE Summer

Well we are about a week into my favorite season. The weather has been perfect, hot some days with a wonderful breeze. As I type this we are getting some much needed rain. Spent the first week helping care for my mother while she spent a week in the hospital, and got her home feeling much better, still exhausted but seems to be better day to day. I have had the opportunity to have both girls working with me, and am truly enjoying watching my grandson grow in Ali's belly. I can't describe the feeling I have regarding becoming a grandma, I truly can't wait!!   There is much work to be done on our house, setting up baby stuff at Ali's and preparing for the baby shower. Kynedy continues to train for her fall soccer season and has been watching a friends grandson a few days a week. She plans to head to Florida with her boyfriends family in August, I can't imagine a soul more deserving than her!! She turns 15 on the forth and we have a fun day planned for her with our annual camping/boating trip with friends the following weekend!! Haven't done much photography but do have a few of my flowers I enjoy working with during the summer. We have some other fun things planned this summer but they are not finalized so stay tuned. I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer so far.

Meet....SNAZZY!

I broke down and bought myself a brand new car!!! I spend way too much time in my car so I wanted to get something I am comfortable in. I LOVE it, is is a 2017  Nissan Sentra SR Turbo and it is perfect for me!! Snazzy and I plan to go on many adventures and I will post as many photos as I can.
